French Word of the Day: la triskaïdékaphobie (la trisk-ai-deck-ah-phob-ee)- triskaidekaphobia, fear of the number thirteen

As many of you know, I’m not so fond of the number thirteen.  Call it superstition or call it being vastly intelligent to all those unfortunate souls who say thirteen’s their lucky number.  (It’s not.  You’re all lying to yourselves.)

Having a full year of it makes me want to run in the other direction.  (I think that would be back to 2012?)  I’m going to take a leaf out of the “lucky thirteeners” books and say that this year is going to be my year.  And even though Kim and Kanye are reproducing, this is in no way indicative of the end of the world.

Now it’s down to making resolutions I don’t intend to keep.  Good luck everyone!  We can get through this together!
